Mt Hope - Jun 2022 - Horse Barn

This barn is definitely one that we are proud of, and loved getting to build! A timber porch wraps around a pre-stained board and batten barn, giving a modern and unique vibe, with so many custom touches. Entering through the Accoya Dutch doors (with hand-forged handles) into the barn, you'll immediately notice the beautiful timber frame throughout the whole barn, in combination with the stone work. You then notice the 10 stalls in a textured, custom colour, and the light streaming in through the cupola onto the interlock rubber floors and ash-clad walls. Custom windows match the stalls and a full, hidden ventilation system keeps the air in the barn fresh and healthy, while in-floor heating keeps it perfectly warm.

Connected to the barn, is a bright and wide-open storage shed, complete with epoxied floors and large poly overhead doors. 8’ high white, plastic-coated plywood (with the rest of the side walls and ceiling cladded in steel) makes this space look so clean and light. Above the mechanical room, we added a mezzanine for extra storage.

This amazing horse barn is one of a kind, built exactly to the customer’s expectations and resulted in a truly outstanding space for many years to come.
