Adjala - Dec 2023 - Mare Barn

Our customer had a vision for 40 years, to someday build a Y-shaped barn; we were honoured to bring this into reality for them! This barn was built on a breeding farm (where we first built a Stallion barn and a custom home), now completing the farm and business.

Behind the large 2-storey timber frame porch, through the Dutch doors, you'll find a beautiful entryway, offices, overnight room, washroom, feed room, and mechanical room. This all serves the two beautiful barn wings. Thoughtfully curated with stone and ash lined walls, bright white ceilings, and rubber floors. This barn is equipped with six mare stalls and five foaling stalls, as well as two large fully enclosed run-ins for mares and foals. A shop and hay storage completes the main floor.

The second floor includes staff offices, lounge, kitchen, laundry and bathroom, with options for future staff quarters. This custom barn truly shows what it means when we say we make dreams come true!
